Basalt reinforced friction material.
It is polymer composition, filled by chopped basalt continuous fibers with friction additives, manufactured by hot molding. The product is ecology clean while production and using, chemical resistant, has increased friction and strength characteristics in comparison with traditional composed products.
Field of use: friction and brake blocks and disk clutch in car manufacture

Light concrete
Reinforced by short (staple) and chopped fibers. Has an excellent structural strength and sound absorption quality.

Basalt composite rods
It is substitute of steel and fiberglass reinforcement elements in constructive materials. The main advantages of basalt rod are its lower price and higher chemical resistance, e.g. in cement and concrete products. The use of basalt rods for concrete reinforcement is allow to save 5…10% cement in construction industry. Besides, the weight of basalt rod is about 6…8 times lighter than of the steel one. It makes it much more convenient for use under building site conditions.

It is composite materials reinforced by basalt fabric. Basalt laminates have been developed for various binding agents: phenol, epoxy, polyamide resins, etc.
Test results comparing copper foil-clad laminates, based on glass and basalt fabrics, prepared under similar conditions for specific volume and surface resistance values, basalt based laminates obtain parameters of magnitude as 2-orders higher than required. The value of loss tangent after conditioning is 50% lower for basalt based PCB; its water absorption is 2…3 times lower; resistance to foil separation is 20…30% higher and after thermal shock – 2-times higher.
